General Information of the Respondent

2.1 Introduction
Bangladesh is an agricultural Country about 75% of men also women live in the rural areas of Bangladesh. So, rural development is an emergency topic in the current situation. Kalidaha Union of Feni is no so developed. But the inhabitants of the area are tried to be developed by various way and such a rural area participation of women in various activities is not ignorable. They maintain a family very well and their performance in society is remarkable too. In this Chapter, gasses the women status in rural family and society and for those purposes consider their various relative aspects are in given below.

2.2 Age of the respondents of the study area.
Age is the main personal information of a respondent. There are various category based aged women in the study area. Some are School going, some are college going, some are middle aged and some aged women in here. Here in my investigation I select mainly middle aged women, because immature respondents cannot give response properly. In this study it is found that middle aged (20 to 40 years) women are the major respondents (Fig )

From the above table, it is found that (21-30) age group 45% are maximum, they have to be chosen because working women was the main purpose of the study. Few of them 30 % are (11-20) age; 28 % (31- 40) age and 41-50 % ages are 10 %.

2.3 Educational Status of the Respondents
Education is the most important fundamental right for a women equal access to education for women and girls will be ensured. It climate discrimination, universalize education, eradicate illiteracy, create a gender sensitive educational system, increase enrolment and retention rates of girls and improve the quality of education to facilitate life long learning as well as development of occupation/vocation /technical skills by women. But educational facility is not so adequate here. There are illiterate, semi-illiterate and literate respondents as the aspect of given information.

In the field survey it is observed that, 36 % are primary passed, 21 % are S.S.C, 7 % are H.S.C, 27 % are Illiterate. So, reducing the gender gap in secondary and higher education would be a focus area. This area will be developed in many ways through education of women. It is positive sign there that, the rate of illiteracy is not so high and educational status gradually in creasing here

2.4 Occupational condition of the respondents
Since women comprise the majority of the population below the poverty line and are very often in situations of extreme poverty, given the harsh realities of intra-household and social discrimination, macro economic policies and poverty eradication programs will specially address the needs and problems of such women.

It is found that housewives are 30 %, some are small enterprise holder (22 %), 18 % are labour and 13 % are students, 8% are in agriculture. Several steps will be taken for mobilization of poor women and convergence of services, By social options, along with necessary support measures to enhance their capabilities.

2.5 Monthly income and family support services
The provision of support services for women, like child care facilities, including crèches at work places and educational institutions, homes for the aged and the disabled will be expanded and improved to create an enabling environment and to ensure their full cooperation in social, political and economic life. Women friendly personnel policies will also be drawn up to encourage women to participate effectively in the developmental process.

It is observed that the important role played by women in food processing, child bearing and agro-industry has been crucial to the development of these sectors. There income ranges (0-500) Tk. are of 44 %, (500-1000) Tk. are of 15 % and 3000+ are of 14 %. They would be giver comprehensive support in terms of labour legislation, social security and other support services to participate in various industrial sectors.

2.6 Locality of the Respondents of the study area.
In Kalidaha, Feni, most of the respondents live in there by birth and some are being migrated from others.

It is found that there some respondents are local people of Feni (88%), from Chittagong. (3.57%) From Noakhali (6%), Dhaka (3%)

2.7 Duration of living in the area
In Kalidaha most of the respondents live in there by birth. There has given a table of duration living of respondents.

2.8 Causes of living
Most of the respondents live in here for their own purposes. Some one live here for job, some for business, some for business, some live by birth and by marriage.

It is observed that about 29.28 % live here for there job, 14.28 % are living place, by marriage 8.57 % etc.

2.10 Conclusion
Most of the women in our country is at a very low status in their family and society. They have been measured as a burden for our society. But in reality, they are not so, whereas, they now served their family through their hard work, education, occupation and monthly income.
