CHAPTER SIX
RECOMMENDATION AND CONCLUSION
6.1 Introduction
Development is an essential part for any country. In the world, there has no any country or region which has no idea about it and every one is interested to get it. Without development one nation cannot be advance. National progress and prosperity is the back bone of a nation.
A country or a nation can be developed when it’s all sector and all area are equally developed. If any area or part of country stay in the dark night of under develop condition than country development will be incomplete and problematic.
So, for sound development of a country or nation, we have to develop it’s whole nation, it means men and women and it’s whole area, it means urban and rural area (towns and villages), equally. So, without women power it is quite impossible to be developed. But, their participation and contribution is always unpublished and un established. In fact, they lead a very negligible life in men ruled society. There is a great contribution of women in their family as main food producer main caretaker of all members of the family. After, fulfill the responsibilities in family they work hard in fled to crop farming, nursing, taking, threshing, heating, drying, purifying, harvesting and preserving properly. They work hard in schools, colleges, officers, banks and in other institutions or NGO’s. Many of them are small business holder. Many of them engaged them selves in cottage industry. Many of them are labour etc. By these economic activities they earn money, which help their family to living better and also develop our economic sector, which lead economic development of an area.
In this way our women can contributed them in rural economic development. Because, development mainly means economic development and rural economic development means the national economic development.
Various social development activities like-educational, health, family planning, tree plantation etc, also done by women and thus developed rural social condition.
After these get job, they can’t get their legal rights in the society. There are also so many obstacles on the way of empowerment which have to be removed and national progress and prosperity based on rural development must be ensured through participation and empowerment of rural women properly.

6.3 Recommendation to increase women participation and empowerment in rural society and economy.
As a rural and agro based economy of our country, so rural development is indeed need to established our country nationally sound and internationally developed. For these purpose we have to know about our rural development sector and sector wise development planning should be taken immediately, specially rural socio-economic development planning. Women participation in rural socio-economic development activities should be ensured with their empowerment and rights in our society also.
In these case, all the govt. institution, ministry, LGED department, NGO’s and other private institutions should be increase their development programs in a micro level of the area.
From these above study I observed some problems and limitations in Kalidaha union, which are very common feature of our rural Bangladesh. So, it should be changed.
The following suggestion may be observed-
+ Sustainable rural development should be ensured.

+ Discrimination between men and women should be removed and maintain equity.

+ Bonus and incentives also be given for increasing their interest and maximize the activities.
+ Women proper rights in the society should be ensured.
+ The power of decision making and self respect of women should be ensured through involving them in political activities and planning programs.
+ Accelerating training facilities.
+ Enhancing mahila samity and their activities.
+ Accelerating participation in rural industry, agriculture and income generating activities.
+ Giving importance and praising them for their best work.
+ Empowerment of women should be established in every sphere of life.
+ Govt. and NGO’s should be taken some steps to accelerate women power and their status in family and society also.
6.4 Conclusion
Our’s is an country of agriculture. Our economy mainly agro-oriented. Our physiography and geographical condition led to us to agriculture and agro-based industry. There are about 85,650 villages which are the centre of these activities. Our rural areas are the store house of natural resources. So, raw materials are come from our nature. But we have to know proper allocation, utilization and conservation of these resources for our future generation and present development. In these case, our rural areas have to be developed first. Because, our national income are mainly depend on it’s development. Rural development depends on it’s manpower, who are the main contributor, main user and main conserver of these resources. Here rural manpower means rural men and women both. There is no option of development without women. They are equally director of rural development with man. They work hard in their family, in crop field, in industry and so many work which are not countable. They contributed our economy through agriculture, horticulture, animal bearing, fisheries, small business, which can help them to their family income as well as our rural area’s income level also improved. But all share of to these work go to men, whereas women with men. Women have a great contribution in our rural society. They participated in various kinds of social program also, like-education, health, family planning etc.Education is the back bow of a nation. Now rural women are not so illiterate. They feel the importance of it and get educated them selves for well being of their child and society also. They now in volve in teaching profession in schools and kindergarten and high schools and colleges also.Their activities of health and family planning, serves many people of rural society and their awareness are increased through these way. Another important role of women in rural areas is their micro-credit program, getting loan, training and income generative activities through this loan various NGO’s like-Grameen Bank, BRAC, ASA, Proshika are organized their credit program which help the poor people specially women to develop their living standard. In my study area, most of women are being facilities through these loans. They done many income generating activities and change their life, which ultimately change rural society. Inspite of these, women status is not get established. Most of the women get unpaid family worker. Their contribution and sacrifices not get proper value.
So, we have to ensure our women participation in rural socio-economic activities and empowered them. If, we ensured hundred percent participation of women, then our rural economy and society can be developed it means our national economy and social development be ensured.
